Pakistani Bokhara (A1491)

Rugs woven in Pakistan are still woven at home, to a large extent, following the influences of Persian and Turkomen craftsmen. Pakistan rugs can be identified by their wide variety of colours and the repetitive 'gul' motif. Bokhara has been produced in any rugs but these rugs are famous for the Bukhara rugs because Bukhara is the center of trading area all the weaver they were taking the rugs and sell it there. Thats why they are called Bukhara rugs. These rugs are so soft that you would mistake them as silk.
